Summary: It is an acrylic water borne varnish. Thixotropic, with good wetting properties and very good leveling. The film has a good transparency and is easy for appling on vertical surfaces.

Appearance and Composition

A white acrylic water borne dispersion, which becomes plexiglass transparent when dries.
Appearance of the coating: uniform matt, semi matt or glossy /70%/ surface.
Color: The base lacquer has a slight wheat hue.

Product Benefits

It is a waterborne, one component acrylic lacquer for wooden surfaces. Main application - for furniture, exposed to weather conditions /external environments/, eg. garden furniture, constructions, beehives and others. The lacquer has UV absorbing additives and protects the wood from the harmful effects of the sunlight. Due to surface active agents it provides excellent dynamic wetting and defoaming. Thixotropic, water-based acrylic lacquerр that provides a self-leveling wood finish.
It forms a moisture resistant, durable and long lasting finish with a silky-matt or semi-matt gloss. "Moisture resistant" in this case is used with the proviso that the coating has the ability to absorb up to 3,5% of water, then recovers.
Water-based varnish dries rapidly in conditions of low humidity and at a suitable temperature, but to achieve maximum strength it needs some time.
If the freshly lacquered doors exert very strong pressure on the door frames, it is desirable to wait longer time to maximize the formation of the coating film.
When choosing a lacquer note that if the surfaces have defects, glossy varnish makes them more visible.
To achieve the visual effect of a thicker layer and deeper colors apply a dark bottom layer and apply a final coat colorless or slightly tinted.

Product Usage

Recommended uses: Suitable for decorative and industrial application - chairs, furniture, doors, mouldings and other.
Application method: Airless spraying, air-assisted airless spraying and conventional spraying for products with lower viscosity.
Recommended spreading amounts (unthinned): dry 50µm, wet 140 g/m², coverage 7-8m²/l.
Density: 1.0 kg/l. The working viscosity can be obtained by dilution with water, from 0 to 10% by volume, but not more.
Elongation at break: 145%.
Water absorption: max. 3.5%.
Best working conditions: Temperature of the surface above 18°C, humidity of the air below 70%. When humidity above 80% drying begins to slow significantly.
Storage temperature: 5 - 35°C. Do not go outside of this temperature range!
Shelf life in original container under the recommended conditions: Up to 6 months from production date.
