Summary: This is a mineral based coolant that, when mixed with water forms a milky emulsion. Provides excellent lubricity and emulsion stability, excellent protection of working tools and workpieces against corrosion, wear and bacterial growth in the emulsion.SDS TDS Brochure
Miscibility with other MWF - only after probe.
It is a clear oily liquid having a yellow to brown color. Rust 113 is made of a mineral oil, esters, combination of emulsifiers, organic bases, corrosion inhibitors, combination of biocides, antifoam additives and the like.
The emulsifying coolant Rust 113 is designed for the metalworking of ferrous metals by cutting.
It is possible to be used for non-ferrous metals too, but only after a preliminary test.
Provides cooling and lubrication of working surfaces, flush chips and prevents the adhesion of
fine metal particles, as well as their welding under pressure to the cutting tool.
It can improve the quality of the finish, extend the tool life and allow operation at higher speeds.
It protects the workpieces between the operations. Rust 113 contains EP additives, ensuring a good
lubricating within the temperature range 600-1000 °C (in the cutting point).
Supplier: Rust LLC.
Rust 113 is used as an emulsion "oil in water". The recommended concentration is 10% in soft or
softened water. It is used on single machines, and in the centralized systems.
Preparation of the emulsion: When preparing the emulsion, it is unacceptable the concentrate to be poured into the inlet of the machine, still less to be poured into the tank containing the working emulsion. Instead, the emulsion must be prepared in a separate vessel at high speed stirring. The so prepared coolant has a milky white color and slight characteristic odor.
Operating temperature range: From 0 °C to 40 °C.
Transportation: Under the safety rules for work with mineral oils and the rules for environmental protection.
Storage: The product should be stored indoors, protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
Shelf life: 3 years in the original package under recommended conditions.
Recommended storage temperature: from -5 °C to + 40 °C.
